Alphabet Stu

Posted by aleeCO on July 5, 2011 in Sketches

I was thinking about lines of action for poses…then just about lines in general.  I decided that I would try to match pose lines to something familiar, so how about the lines of alphabet letters?   This was trickier than I thought, but I got some strong poses out of doing this  ;)

Decided to try some exaggerated poses that may look good as a silhouettes. When I was drawing the first ones bent over, it reminded me of an old man…(that’s what inspired the next drawings :)
