Live at the Heart of Daydreams
On my trip back home to Colorado, my dad gave me a book he was reading to improve his creative writing, The Art and Craft of Storytelling by Nancy Lamb. There are several great excerpts and takeaways that translate into creativity in any field, not just literature. In one of my favorite sections, she suggested [...]

Live lip dub proposal
I always get a kick out of lip dubs. Coordinating and keeping the energy and excitement up with a group of people can be a challenge. This one got blown up pretty quick ~ certainly cute and well-executed. Hats off this creative, spontaneous group of people!
Animated Movie Remixes
Pogo’s new remix: Nick’s (Pogo) pieces have incredible editing and attention to detail in his works. The planning and choreography of this music video is incredible. Fresh — love seeing innovation come together (especially when it requires the participation of many people). You’ll be seeing more of these types of videos from me
Early effects in music videos
Peter Gabriel’s Sledgehammer: The Brothers Quay who provided claymation, pixilation, and stop motion animation for the music video. Innovative. Especially for it’s time.

Beauty of One Second
Ben Fischler shared this link. The Beauty Of a Second – 3rd round compilation (Instant Bliss) from The Beauty Of A Second on Vimeo. This is wonderful as a stand-alone. We can learn from this as animators. The power of one second — think about how much information can be told with proper staging. Capturing [...]
