Parkour Planning
My next shot is going to include both ballie and stewie. They approach a wall with only a rope to climb. They have no arms, but will conquer the wall! sketches: plan/block v1: very rough. Mainly focused on timing and idea. Reference video:
Strength Poses
This week’s pose is strength! I drew some new ones today (poses 1-6), but the others are from another sketch entry (I pulled what I think would be interesting to bring into 3D). I thought about strength in both individual and team-based terms.
Devastation sketches
This week’s emotion is “devastation”
“Strong” poses
Thinking about physical strength today (I was talking to people about marathons and obstacle courses), so I drew sketches of climbing, running, being strong, and any consequences of the like… got some good poses down
Alphabet Stu
I was thinking about lines of action for poses…then just about lines in general. I decided that I would try to match pose lines to something familiar, so how about the lines of alphabet letters? This was trickier than I thought, but I got some strong poses out of doing this
lazy Sunday
Drew these after playing with my cat at home. Later the sleeping cat inspired the sleepy people drawings. The following drawings are more poses that would be good as a silhouette.
Loose sketches
Decided to try some exaggerated poses that may look good as a silhouettes. When I was drawing the first ones bent over, it reminded me of an old man…(that’s what inspired the next drawings
Body sketches – Talking with your hands
Talk with your hands. You’re a more interesting story-teller
Studles (Stu doodles)
Today I sat in a couple different places and sketched stu based on the people around me. Again, there’s no particular emotion or theme in mind –just doodling to doodle
