Giant Beach Ball

I know this isn’t great for a ball reference video, but it’s pretty entertaining.  Gisel Calvo shared it   I’m not sure what I like better:  the fact that there’s a giant, random beach ball being dropped in Dallas or the people’s commentary.  I especially like the lone “Yay…” *clap clap* when the ball hits [...]

my friend Karoly Matyas made this.  It’s a handy reference for sure.  In case you’re wondering, 1 maya unit is 1 cm.  I think.  Don’t quote that. I’m not sure.

Ball bounces. Lots of ‘em.

Before we get to animator-ing, it’s good to look at real motion. I dropped a lot of balls, so we’ll have some variety. Feel free to use it! Really study and breakdown the basics! It carries over to more complex motions.
