Alphabet Stu
I was thinking about lines of action for poses…then just about lines in general. I decided that I would try to match pose lines to something familiar, so how about the lines of alphabet letters? This was trickier than I thought, but I got some strong poses out of doing this

To see the extra shoulder controls on Stu, put the following into the script editor: setAttr “stu_ac_R_shoulder.visibility” 1; setAttr “stu_ac_L_shoulder.visibility” 1;
Shaders on Stu
So I decided to play with the shaders on Stu. From now on, he’ll look like this in my work:

Drew these after playing with my cat at home. Later the sleeping cat inspired the sleepy people drawings. The following drawings are more poses that would be good as a silhouette.
