Today our Eager Beaver group on Facebook broke 300! Really cool to see how much it’s grown, since we started it in early Spring! For those who don’t know, this is a group that we started for incoming AM students: a place for students to get introduced to each other, get animation tips, and share references and inspiration. Pascal made this for us:

Coffee Talk’s First Birthday!

Here’s my tribute to the anniversary of Coffee Talk and the Admissions Campus! They’ve got a great thing going, and it’s only the first year! For those you unfamiliar with AM, coffee talks are weekly sessions in which incoming AMers can meet other students and some of the staff. It’s similar to a Skype set-up so we can chat either in a chat box or through video. Great way to get comfortable with how AM works as well, since our sessions with Mentors and staff are done in the same set-up.

Tonight I designed and uploaded a badge for our Eager Beaver facebook group. Really cool to see everyone get into it — I haven’t seen a design just boom like that before! Hooray for spontaneous success and passion, of course
